Description

JEFO Currently Booz Allen Hamilton provides on-site assistance to S&T Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) to support its front office operations. S&T HSARPA has a requirement for this mission critical continuity of Science Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support provided by BAH while a new competitive task order is fully transitioned. The new SETA II task (HSHQDC-14-J-00523) was awarded on 9/17/2014 and the awardee contractor is still in the process of onboarding their staff and filling proposed staff positions. By issuing a continuity of service task order, HSARPA will be in a position to effectively transition this effort and will be able to continue to function at full mission capability during this period. This award was made pursuant to FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(B) using the exception FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B). The Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity (JEFO) number is FY15-0043 dated December 11, 2014. A copy of the JEFO is attached.
