- Description
- The 763d Specialized Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed priced modification to contract FA4452-09-C-0001, extending COM-F support for a 4-month period, 01 Mar 2015 - 30 Jun 2015. This action is necessary to continue COM-F services while a protest to a competitive follow-on acquisition is resolved. This sole source contract modification will be issued to NCI Information Systems Inc, to continue to provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, material, supplies, test equipment, and other items and services necessary to accomplish Level I and Level II Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of Configuration Management (CM), System Administration (SA), Help Desk, Database Administration (DBA) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) support to the 375 Communications Squadron (CSPTS), Scott AFB IL and other locations in support of C2Remedy, GATES, CAMPS, ACFP, GDSS and GCCS systems. The Government intends to issue a sole source modification to one source, NCI Information Systems, 11730 Plaza American Dr Ste 70, Reston VA 20190-4747 under the authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by 6.302-1(a)(2)); only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This is not a request for competitve proposals, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The resultant contract modification will be firm-fixed price. Verbal requests will not be acted upon. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541512.
