Please see attachment Solicitation number is VA244-15-Q-0163 and is issued as a request for quote. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 4 is conducting a total small business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2 opportunity under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339112 following the procedures of FAR 13.5. These instructions may be found on pages 39 and 40. The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4 has a requirement for, radio frequency detection system capable of locating sponges, gauze and towels used during surgeries in order to avoid foreign materials being left in patients. Specifications may be found on pages 10 and 11 of the solicitation. NAICS code 39112 shall be viewable within the offerors System for Award Management (SAM) account by the date of closing, 12/22/2014, in order to be considered for award. Period of Performance is a Base period with three (3) One (1) Year options to include an additional six (6) month option. Individual requirements will be issued as Firm Fixed Price Delivery/Task orders against this contact. In accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (page 32) the estimated maximum contract value the Government may order over the life of this contract may not exceed $300,000.00, inclusive of the base period and all option periods. See FAR 52.216-18 (page 31) and FAR 52.216-21 for additional information.
