Description

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY NOR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS REQUEST. THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The US Coast Guard Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC), Norfolk is seeking an 8(a) firm that is qualified to perform janitorial services for the US Coast Guard Sector New York at its Staten Island location. This procurement is restricted to 8(a) qualified firms. The responding firm must be able to transition quickly - on or about 15 January and be willing to novate from the existing service provider which is Omega Services Corporation. The applicable NAICS code is 561720 and small business size standard of $18 Million. Potential contractors must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) and certified as an 8(a) in order to be considered for an award. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Qualified firms are required to submit statement of interest to Ms. Tracey Strawbridge at tracey.strawbridge@uscg.mil no later than 11:00 PM, EST on December 18, 2014 including Past Performance information. The submission must include an insert detailing the following information: 1. Dun & Bradstreet Number;and 2. The e-mail address and phone number of the Primary Point of Contact Telephone inquiries will not be honored.
