- I. Regional Contracting Office (RCO)-Miami in support of United States Special Operation Command South (SOCSOUTH) is seeking information from interested contractors that can meet the requirements of the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The RCO-Miami contracting office is working diligently to complete the acquisition strategy and planning process required for DoD Army Acquisitions. Input form industry is instrumental in developing the acquisition strategy associated with this request for information. Please note the attached PWS is a draft, only the final request for proposal and associated documents should be used as official guides for proposal submission. This request for information is requested under NAICS 561210 Facilities Support Services. This requirement has been set aside for 8(a) participants. II. RFI Announcement: This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposal, or Request for Quotations. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract, nor do they affect a potential respondent's ability to respond to any future synopsis/solicitation which may or may not follow or restrict the U.S. Government's eventual acquisition approach. Additionally, the U.S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this RFI. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Interested vendors responding to this RFI shall provide capability information for this requirement in its entirety. Respondents will not be notified of any results derived from a review of the information provided; however information gathered may be utilized for technical and acquisition purposes. The U.S. Government will not pay for any costs associated with such demonstration(s) of any software products. This RFI will be open from the date of release for 15 calendar days. This RFI is requested of companies currently involved in the market place where these services/products are available and in production. III. Scope: United States Special Operations Command South has a need for Security Administration and Access Control Support. This is a non-personal services contract under which the personnel rendering the services are not subject, either by the contract's terms or by the manner of its administration, to the supervision and control usually prevailing in relationships between the Government and its employees. IV. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI with a capability statement (white papers). White papers: white paper shall provide administrative information, and shall include the following as a minimum: - Name, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail of designated point of contact. - Business type (Large, Small, 8(a) etc.) - Security clearance of the Offeror - Limited to 5 pages, one sided, Time New Roman Size 12 Font, explaining Offerors capability in meeting specified requirements within the Draft PWS. Submit via e-mail only to Kimberly Rheaume to kimberly.f.rheaume.civ@mail.mil by January 05, 2015 by 12:00pm (EST). Any proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
