- NSN 1680-00-123-9480, 42F, T-38 ACFT, PR 55509356, P/N: 6-40651-501; this is a Critical Application (CI) item. It is not a Critical Safety Application (CSI) item nor is it a commercial item. Configuration Control and Higher Level Quality Inspection, ISO 9001:2008 or equivalent apply. There is a Government First Article Testing requirement for this procurement. The acquisition is unrestricted other than full & open competition. This is a sole source item coded 3P. The technical data is proprietary to Northrop Grumman Corporation. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. Any manufacturer, other than the approved source, Northrop Grumman CAGE 0JRC1, interested in submitting a proposal for this item must first submit a complete source approval request (SAR) package for evaluation. The SAR package will not be evaluated for the current procurement. Submit SAR packages for evaluation for future procurements to: Defense Logistics Agency- Aviation Office of the Competition Advocate ATTN: DSCR-DU 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway Richmond, VA 23297-5100 DELIVERY: 1058 days after receipt of order. QUANTITY: 930 each. INSPECTION/ACCEPT : Origin. FOB Origin. The Government intends to place a firm-fixed price, no options delivery order against BOA SPM4A111G0004. The letter solicitation will be issued on 29 December 2014 and will close on 16 February 2015. The solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website.
