THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future procurement, G.V. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson Mississippi is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 811219 that can offer the services listed below: STATEMENT OF WORK Transaction Number: 586-15-1-033-0039 1.EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION: ENTRY #MANUFACTURERMODELSERIAL #LOCATION HELENASPIFE 3000 #1088 QUICKSCAN 2000 #1660 581135501 601131201 2. SERVICE/ EQUIPMENT The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, in Jackson, MS is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supervision and software/hardware upgrades to provide preventative maintenance and full corrective service to include electrical and mechanical calibration maintenance of government owned equipment; SPIFE 3000 unit and QUICKSCAN 2000 unit, located at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC, 1500 E. Woodrow Wilson Jackson, MS 39216, for the period (1) one base year and four (4) option years. Contractor shall provide electrical and mechanical calibration maintenance once per year, unlimited number of repairs, and include parts. Inspections shall be scheduled at least three days in advance with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Service shall include all necessary intervening service calls needed due to equipment failure. Interested companies should submit an electronic statement/attachment outlining their company's capability and capacity to provide the services requested. Also, firms should provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code they fall within (i.e. small businesses, 8(a) firms, HUB Zones, small disabled veteran owned businesses, etc.) This Sources sought is for informational purposes only and all businesses able to provide this equipment are encouraged to submit information regardless of Business size. Please send responses to: james.craig7@va.gov. No Later Than Thursday December 18, 2014 by 1:00pm Central Standard Time. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements.
