Description

The Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service (P&SAS) provides eyewear, eyewear components, and optician services to eligible veterans of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The resulting firm-fixed-price contract will provide eyewear (including lenses, frames, and cases) and optician services to VISN 21. These services include verification of prescriptions, eyeglass selection, providing orders to VA prosthetic employees, dispensing eyewear, and repairing the eyewear as necessary. Optician services are considered ancillary to the eyewear and are included in the eyewear cost.
