Description
NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Astronics (21793) for the repair of various items associated with the Jet Engine Test Instrumentation (JETI) and Shaft Engine Test Instrumentation (SETI) systems. The intention of this solicitation is to award a five-year requirements contract. The repair contract will include five base years with no options. This contract will include the repair of over 60 items associated with the JETI/SETI system. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with the source identified earlier in this synopsis. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 334412. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WWS Philadelphia, Attn: Mr. Stephen M. Strayer, Contract Specialist, Code (N762.13), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Sources will be solicited on or after 05 JAN 2015 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
