Description
NOAA General Technical Requirements (GTR), 25 March 2014 Statement of Work (SOW FY15 Dockside Repairs NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker - DRAFT Synopsis: The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Marine Operations Center - Pacific (MOC-P) has a requirement for Dockside Repairs to the NOAA Vessel Reuben Lasker. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and services necessary to perform dockside repairs to the NOAA Vessel Reuben Lasker, except as noted in the Statement of Work. All work will be performed at the NOAA facility in San Diego, CA. The resulting contract will have a period of performance from approximately January 16, 2015 through February 27, 2015. The proposed contract line items may include: Dewatering Pump 110V Upgrade, Interior Passageway Fire Door Holdback, Stern Gantry SWL Test, Replace AFT Deck Hatch on Trawl, Laundry Ventilation Changes, Reconfiguration of Refrigeration Room, Replace Ladder to Miranda Davit, Ventilation System Fire Damper Closure, RAACI Software Revisions, Chiller Control Valves Replacement, Replace Ballast and Fuel Tank Level Indicators, Remove Hydro Winch Panel, OWS Modifications, Additional Deck Drains, Deck Coaming on Starboard Side, HPU Controls Installation Inside Sampling Booth, Gangway Storage Rack, Install RM Young Digi-Aerovane, Replace Sea Water Sampling Flow Meter, Rewire Gyro 1 and 2, CCTV Wire Installation, and Additional Government Requirements. The work shall be accomplished in accordance with the statement of work. These proposed line items and the attached draft statement of work are for informational purposes only and are subject to change in the final solicitation. For planning purposes, it is anticipated that the Ship will be available for a ship check between December 15th 2014 and January 16th 2015 in San Diego, CA. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. Any resulting contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis. Solicitation documents will be made available for download on or about December 19, 2014 at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued.
