- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Elevator Maintenance Services for the Metropolitan Detention Center located in Los Angeles, Ca. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a single contract. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government. The service will be billed as a flat monthly rate. All scheduled maintenance shall be conducted on Thursday of each week for a minimum of (4) four hours of licensed mechanic work. The Statement of Work in the solicitation will detail the elevators involved. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The requirement will be set aside for small business. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about December 22, 2014 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 20, 2015. It is anticipated that a site visit will be scheduled in early January.
