Description

The FAA Western Acquisition Service Area, has a construction effort to reconstruct Runway 12 MALSR at the Del Norte Airport in Crescent City, CA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 with a size standard of $14 million. The estimated dollar range for this requirement is $500,000 to $1,00,000. Performance and payment bonds are required. Project Scope includes but is not limited to: Remove and Dispose of Old Rwy 12 MALSR “ Remove and dispose of all MALSR power & control cable from existing MALSR shelter to MALSR Station 19+80. Remove and dispose of MALSR conduits from existing MALSR shelter (starting at edge of Runway Safety Area) to Station 10+30. Survey Existing Rwy 12 MALSR “ Survey existing MALSR Stations 12+00, 14+00, 15+16, 16+32, 17+48, 18+64, and 19+80. Provide top of concrete elevation and center of light plane elevation at each station. Reconstruct Rwy 12 MALSR “ Construct Distribution Station and foundation, MALS light bar foundations, and threshold light bar foundation; construct gravel access areas; install conduits, vaults, and cables; install MALS lights, power equipment, and complete connections; install Earth Electrode System (EES). Other miscellaneous work shown on plans or covered in these specifications. Responses to this announcement must be received by Friday, December 19, 2014. All interested offerors must submit the attached Business Declaration. The solicitation will be provided on or about the week of December 29, 2014. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
