PRESOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF EXTERIOR CAMPUS SIGNAGE PROJECT: 593-15-105 SOLICITATION NUMBER: VA262-15-B-0025 VA SOUTHERN NEVADA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM DESCRIPTION: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice for required services under project number 593-15-105 - Installation of Exterior Campus Signage at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) located at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada, 89086. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Under Public Law 109-461, 38 USC Section 8127, this procurement action will be set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business. VASNHS is seeking qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses to install new exterior signage on the VASNHS campus, to include, but not limited to the demolition of existing signage. GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor to provide labor, equipment, supplies for the demolition and removal of existing signage; installation of new signage (government furnished); and new contractor provided signage at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The new exterior campus signage system includes gateway entrance identification signs, vehicular directional signs, building identification signs, building directory signs, parking identification signs, operational signs, and landmark pylons. Work incudes but not limited to furnishing and install signage, including excavation, concrete, grading, masonry, painting, electrical, seeding, demolition, and patching. Requirements for this procurement include a Ninety (90) day bid acceptance period, One Hundred and Eighty (180) day period of performance from Notice to Proceed, and Bid Bond submission with each bid. The estimated cost of construction range for Project #593-15-105 is between $100,000 and $250,000. The North American Industry Classification Code for this project is 23620, Small Business Size Standard: $36.5 Million. A Pre-Bid Conference and site visit shall be held, date/time/location to be provided in the solicitation. Solicitation documents, including technical specifications, sign drawings, site plan, will be available electronically on or about December 29, 2014, on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties shall search for Solicitation number VA262-15-B-0025 to access solicitation documents any amendments. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law 109-461 as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Additionally, this acquisition shall follow the procedures for sealed bidding FAR Part 14, as modified and supplemented by the requirements in FAR Part 36.213.
