Description

This RFQ is being solicited/conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). The provision at FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this acquisition. Evaluation will be based on the lowest price offer received who's product meets the requirement detailed in the Statement of Work. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 10 December 2014 and to remain open for five (5) business days. Responding contractors shall include adequate information with their quotations to enable the government to make a complete evaluation and appraisal of the offering with respect to the requirements set forth in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer will evaluate quotations (quotes) on the basis of the evaluation factors listed in this solicitation and the information furnished by the offeror or identified in the quote and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. This solicitation is for five (5) Non Tactical Vehicles (NTV): Two (2) Toyota Hilux 4x4 or equal (neutral in color (silver, black, beige, or grey). The vehicle will be maintained at the expense of Contractor for contract duration. Three (3) Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 or equal (neutral in color (silver, black, beige, or grey) maintained at the expense of Contractor for contract duration. All vehicles shall include the following equipment: Protective under-carriage and all-terrain tires, the POP (Period of Performance) is: 12 January 2015 thru 11 January 2016. The place of performance will be Lima, Peru. The Government will make an award from this request for quotation to the responsible offeror whose quote will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. Funding has not yet been received from the requiring activity. The award of a contract is subject to availability of funds.
