PRE- BID PACKET SCOPE OF WORK THIS IS A SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITY WITH WOODLAND JOB CORPS CENTER/ ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC, NOT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR. Owner: US Department of Labor (DOL) Center Operator: Adams and Associates, Inc. Project Summary: Education Building The two wooden doors are deteriorated and require replacing at the east corner classroom storage and the west storage in gym. Remove the existing frame. Install new wood single doors with sidelight to fit in the existing opening, new metal frame, and door stop and associated hardware, including door closure). Cafeteria Doors to the staff toilet rooms and the door in the corridor are deteriorated and beyond repair. Remove the existing wood doors and frames. Install new wood doors and frames with privacy lockets and closer on the 2 toilet rooms, and latch set on the corridor door. ( 2'-10"x 6'-8" doors) Social Development I. The exterior metal double doors, located at the east entrance to the building are damaged beyond repair. II. Wood siding around the doors is deteriorated. I. Remove old doors. Provide the double metal doors and frame (6' x7'), continuous hinges, exit hardware, threshold and door closures. II. Remove wood siding. Provide brick around the door, approximately 130 SF and brick band around the building up to 24" in high to protect the metal siding from the water penetration. Provide reinforced CMU foundation wall for the brick band. Construct the entrance canopy with two metal posts and fabric arched cover.
