- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, has a requirement for King Air 200 Initial/Recurrent Pilot Training. The FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm-Fixed Price type contract for a period of 5 years on a full and open competitive basis. To be considered qualified, each offeror must possess an applicable training program approved under Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 121, or FAR Part 135, or FAR Part 142 for the King Air 200. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611512 (Flight Training) and the size standard is $25.5M. Screening Information Request (SIR) No. DTFACT-15-R-00002 is attached to this announcement. Contract performance shall commence on or around February 1, 2015. Questions that arise from this SIR must be submitted, in writing only, via email to michael.vazquez@faa.gov by 12PM (local time) on December 12, 2014. The offeror's completed response to the attached SIR must be submitted no later than 12PM (local time) on December 22, 2014 in accordance with the instructions set forth in Section L. Prospective offerors are hereby on notice that any amendment(s) issued to this solicitation will be published at https://faaco.faa.gov/ under current announcements for the William J. Hughes Technical Center. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. In accordance with SIR Section L provision 3.2.2.3-14 entitled, "Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals," any proposals received after the due date and time of 12PM (local time), December 22, 2014, will not be considered. In addition, if all requested information is not furnished in the offeror's proposal, the offeror's proposal may be determined to be non-responsive and ineligible for consideration for contract award. The SIR/RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind. The Government shall not be liable for payment of any costs attributed to the preparation and submission of requested proposal documentation.
