- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) - FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (iii) (B), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements to Caelum Research Corporation, 1700 Research Blvd., Ste 100, Rockville, Maryland 20850-6121 to procure services in support of the Marine Corps Institute (MCI). The Contractor is responsible for providing the Oracle Database Developer during MCI's transition from Marine Barracks Washington (MBW) to Training and Education Command (TECOM), College of Distance Education and Training (CDET) for transfer of MCI databases for distance learning courses. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a period of performance from 1 January 2015 thru 30 June 2015; Contract amount is $113,618.00. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541330 - Other Computer Related Services. A copy of the signed J&A, for limited competition will be posted within 14 days after contract award in accordance with FAR 6.305 (a), Availability of the justification. No follow-on contract will be awarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements.
