Description

AGENCY: Veteran's Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs NOTICE TYPE: SOURCES SOUGHT Maintenance & Disinfection of Distribution Piping of Water Purification System for Dialysis Unit This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. Please provide information and description of services available. A solicitation is not available at this time, but results from this market research will help identify solicitation provisions, should a solicitation occur in the future. The Manhattan VAMC, located at 423 East 23 Street, New York NY, requires full service support for BioMedical equipment systems. Service contract for the maintenance and disinfection of distribution piping water purification system: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to service the central reverse osmosis (RO) and deionization (DI) systems including all machines, equipment, and distribution piping including the monthly cleaning and inspection of two (2) portable reverse osmosis machines and the quarterly replacement of two (2) DI rental tanks. LOCATION AT MANHATTAN VAMC - DIALYSIS SERVICE Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (via E-mail) referencing the requirement & RFI # and must be received not later than December 11, 2014 at 5:00PM. Email: Brian.Richardson@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, description of item(s) available, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic status verification. To be eligible for consideration, offerors will have been engaged in maintaining/servicing the type of equipment system listed for a period of no less than two (2) years and be capable of presenting certification of such with verifiable references. No allowance will be made for a company not having qualified and certified personnel available to respond with prompt and satisfactory service. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
