This is a sources sought notice to find potential contractors that can begin work in January 2015 through September 2015. The VA New York Harbor Health Care System has an elaborate security system designed to keep patients, staff and visitors safe. Service must be maintained to ensure facilities are secure. The system includes information technology equipment. Contractor must provide full maintenance and repair service for the following security system equipment at the New York Harbor Healthcare System to include Brooklyn, St. Albans and Manhattan Campus. The security system must be operable for VA Police Services monitoring. Contractor must provide full maintenance and repair service for the following security system equipment at the New York Harbor Healthcare System to include Brooklyn, St. Albans and Manhattan Campus. General Specifications include: Maintenance due to fire or other casualty, faulty or negligent operation, or willful vandalism. Additionally, consumable supplies, such as paper, ribbons, tapes, diskettes and/or batteries are not covered by this contract. Contractor to perform bi-monthly alarm checks in concert with Police personnel. All inspections to be coordinated with Police Chief or designee. A quarterly PM inspection which provides a narrative report to verify equipment/system reliabilities required. The narrative must contain specific recommendations for corrective actions involving operator use. Replacements or other items to ensure continued system reliability. Service Hours and Response Time: Maintenance and PM Service shall be normally provided Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM, excluding national holidays. Response time shall be within 24 hours of notification by the Chief, Police and Security, or his designee Quarterly PM will be performed during the months of January, April, and July. Contractor has the option of leaving the service report with Police and Security section at building 1, or Engineering Service at building 4 after servicing the equipment. Contractor must send the signed trip ticket with invoices to verify work performed. Payments to be made quarterly.
