- December 4, 2014 - The DRAFT solicitation is hereby posted below. ___________________________________________________________________________ December 2, 2014 This pre-solicitation synopsis is hereby modified as follows: Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Charleston, SC intends to issue a request for proposals (RFP) N65236-13-R- 0016 for the procurement of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Command and Control (C2) equipment, software and hardware licenses/maintenance associated with COTS Equipment not available via mandatory sources, renewals for software and hardware licenses/maintenance not available via mandatory sources, warranties, and incidental support. The primary users of the equipment are the DoD and Federal Civilian Agencies throughout the Government. The subject procurement will be solicited as a full and open competition. The Government intends to make multiple awards of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The Government estimate for this effort is $750M. The period of performance will be a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS code for this effort will be 334220, with a size standard of 750 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) will be 5895, and the non- manufacturing rule is applicable to this procurement. It is anticipated that the solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available via the SPAWAR Business Opportunity website, located at: https://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil, on or about 05 Jan, 2015. It is the responsibility of interested parties to independently monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and applicable documents. No paper distribution of these documents will be provided. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency in response to the solicitation when it is issued. The applicable NAICS code for this effort will be 334220, with a size standard of 750 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) will be 5895, and the non- manufacturing rule is applicable to this procurement. It is anticipated that the solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on or around 1 June 2014, on the SPAWAR Business Opportunity Website located at: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil.
