Description

The VHA Program Contracting Office East (PCO-East) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kent Scientific Corporation, for a Somno Suite anesthesia machine with pulse oximeter. This equipment shall be utilized on equipment that currently resides at the VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. No other piece of equipment can be utilized because of the importance of it being compatible with current equipment and specifications. This equipment can only be provided by Kent Scientific Corporation. The following items shall be purchased: Description: Somno Suite w/ Digital Vaporizer, 1 each Mouse Vent Automated Ventilator, 1 each Step Down Regulator, 1 each Induction Chamber, 1 each Nose Cone, 1 each A delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered NLT 30 days after date of contract award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this equipment as described above, must notify this Contracting Officer at Cheryl.Homison@va.gov, or by telephone at 412-822-3493 NLT December 10, 2014 2:00 P.M. E.S.T. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
