- Sources Sought for Exterior Signage and Wayfinding, Project No. 542-13-107, Coatesville VAMC, Coatesville, PA. The VA Medical Center in Coatesville, PA is seeking professional A/E services for the complete working drawings, cost estimate, technical reports, specifications and construction period services for installing exterior signage and wayfinding campus-wide at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, Project No. 542-13-107. The AE shall review the program materials furnished by the VA and all prior submissions to ascertain the requirements of the phases of the work and shall prepare Design Development Documents of the highest professional quality within the firm's capability illustrating the scale and relationship of project components for review and approval by VA. The consultant shall provide all architectural and engineering services as defined to accomplish complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates for the following work: This project will require evaluation of the current exterior sign system at the VA campus in Coatesville, PA. and the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) at Spring City, PA. The purpose is to identify aspects of the existing system that require improvement and propose a general solution for approval, and once approved, develop the complete working drawings, specifications, cost estimate and construction period services for a construction contract for the demolition and installation of the new exterior signage and wayfinding campus wide. Design a complete and functional user friendly environment in accordance with all National Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical and Building Codes, ADA Requirements, Fire / Life / Safety and Security Codes, JACHO Compliance, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices ( MUTCD) and VA Standands. The A/E shall assess the existing conditions and provide complete construction documentation to this end based upon A/E recommendations as agreed upon by the VA. A/E services to include: site investigation and design development; working drawings & specifications; cost estimates; construction period services; and site visits. A/E will provide 50% construction document review, 90% construction document review, 100% construction document review, and Final submission. The work shall meet all applicable VA design criteria and construction standards. The estimated construction budget is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Interested firms must submit two (2) copies of SF330 with appropriate documentation to Contracting Officer 542/90C, VAMC, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320 by close of business, January 8, 2015. NAICS 541330 applies. This is not a request for proposals. This procurement is set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. All interested firms must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and must be verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE) on VetBiz Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov as a SDVOSB firm.
