Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Services Network 8, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with PICIS aka OPTUM, Inc. for Clinical Information System (CIS) and Anesthesia Record Keeper (ARK) VISTA licenses to decentralize existing services located at Orlando VA Medical center to individual sites located at Miami, Tampa, Bay Pines, Gainesville, West Palm Beach and San Juan Puerto Rico. These software licenses are on GS-35-F-0589X schedule and this procurement is being conducted in accordance with VAAR 808.002 Priorities for Use of Government Supply Sources. Contract is firm fixed price and F.O.B. Destination. NAICS Code 511210/$355M This is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms that believe they can provide the required PICIS software and installation are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 3:00 PM EST, December 8, 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Inquiries will only be accepted via e-mail to Candace.Renn@va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. This special notice is for market research purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT REQUIRE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. The Government will not pay for any information submitted under this notice.
