- Description
- This is the first pre-solicitation notice. Another notice will be issued again prior to the release of the solicitation and will be called the synopsis. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, located in Butner, North Carolina, anticipates issuance of a solicitation to re-caulk expansion joints at the Federal Medical Center, Butner, NC. The successful contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and expertise for the construction project. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is a total 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238390 which contain a size standard of $14 million. The period of performance is 210 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.sam.gov (System for Award Management). Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes. No tax exemption certificate will be issued by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The issuance of solicitation RFQP01061500010 will be on or about January 5, 2015. The solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition
