THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SMALL BUSINESSES. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA244-15-Q-0106 for the following: 'to provide semi-annual interior and exterior window washing services at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center located at 3900 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia PA 19104.' Contractor is to furnish labor and materials and equipment required to perform work for the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. The Solicitation documents will be available for download from the web https://www.fbo.gov on or about December 5th, 2014. Potential bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and subsequent amendments, if any. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation will NOT be honored. It is essential that interested parties register on the Interested Vendor Listing at https://www.fbo.gov, 'Interested Vendor List'. Individual copies of the Interested Vendor List WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation amendments issued to the IFB will be posted to the website and offerors are advised it is their responsibility to obtain and acknowledge all amendments. Paper copies of amendments will NOT be individually mailed. The ONLY Pre-Bid Walk Thru will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 9:00 EST at the Philadelphia VAMC. Vendors will meet in Building 5 Room 123 for the walk through. While the walk-thru is not mandatory, all bidders, suppliers and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend. All requests for information or questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via mail or by email: carl.devitz@va.gov no later than Close of Business, December 17, 2014. No telephonic or fax requests will be honored. NAICS Code 561720 with a small business size standard of $18 million will be utilized. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. The contract will be for a base and four option years. Vendors must provide pricing for the base and all option periods. Vendors must be currently registered including completing online Representations and Certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov.
