- Medical stores warehouse drawing Capabilities Survey Design and construction of regional medical warehouses USAID is working closely with the Zambia Government through Ministry of Health (MoH) and Ministry of Community Development Mother and Child Health (MCDMCH) establish and operate a safe, secure, reliable and sustainable supply chain to ensure product availability of pharmaceuticals, Laboratory and other HIV-related products at health facilities in Zambia. The Ministry of Health (MoH) and Ministry of Community Development Mother and Child Health (MCDMCH) are mandated to provide health services to Zambians across the 10 provinces. In provision of these services, a well-designed and functional supply chain system is cardinal in attainment of both curative and preventive health services. USAID/Zambia would like to develop a pool of Zambian organizations able to provide construction services. Proposed works will include but not limited to: grading, water lines, sewer lines, paving/repaving roadways, painting, roofing, designing and new building construction, structural construction, Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and components, refrigeration systems, fire suppression systems, fuel pipeline and storage systems, power and services supplies, distribution and utilization systems (including lighting), power generators and Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UPS), public address systems, fire alarm systems, telephone systems, and systems work such as utilities infrastructure, roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping and irrigation for two (2) in Mansa and Kasama with a probability of two additional distribution warehouses. Taking into account vehicle fleet maneuverability (position for offloading, turning circles, dock levels and truck heights etc.). Construction and commissioning shall adhere to international construction standards. Once fully completed the warehouses should meet the following basic operational standard facilities
