- This amendment revises the setaside for this procurement. Market research conducted in recent weeks found the size status of one capable business is no longer small. As a result, the Government is no longer competing this package as a small buisness set-aside. The anticipated solicitation issuance date has also been updated. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, CA, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for 25 each of the refurbishment of the Main Battery for the AQM-37C Supersonic Target Vehicles under Full and Open Competition. This effort will include coordination with the AQM-37 program via the Deputy Assistant Program Manager, Logistics (DAPML). The period of performance will be from date of award and will continue for a period of five years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal and will be considered by the agency. To be eligible for an award, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at website https://www.sam.gov/index.html. The solicitation will be issued on or about 8 December 2014 and will be available through the Federal Business Opportunity website at htttp://www.fedbizopps.gov. The estimated award date is 17 February 2015. All responses/requests shall be submitted in writing to email: jennifer.barneby@navy.mil. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
