Description

Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision and expertise necessary to Replace a fence in Hospital, Building 45 at the Alexandria Veterans Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS), Alexandria, Louisiana. Work requires the installation of an 8 foot high fencing and 36" high guardrail with various gates around the Community Living Center (bldg. 45) on the VA Alexandria campus in Pineville,LA. Contractor shall provide the supervision, labor, tools, material, equipment and certifications to install 8 foot high aluminum fence with single gate and two card-reader operators with mag lock to secure the courtyard for residents where indicated on the drawing. Install safety guardrail around the back side of the building with emergency access gates where indicated on the drawing. The dollar magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. NAICS 236220 applies-size standard is $33.5 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov ) under NAICS 236220 and complete online Representations and Certifications at (http://www.sam.gov ), along with Vets 100 at http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html in order to submit offers and be eligible for award. All offerors must be listed as "verified" in the VIP database, available in VETBIZ at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the fedbizopps website in order to receive e-mail notification of amendments. Point of contact for this solicitation is the Contracting Officer, Gina Roach, email gina.roach@va.gov. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is not an Invitation for Bid (IFB). Solicitation No. VA-256-15-B-0146 including specifications and drawings will be issued as an IFB construction contract on or about December 15, 2014. Bids will be due not less than 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and specific information for the site visit will be announced upon Solicitation issuance. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. NOTE: This project is subject to the AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
