Description
The Department of Veteran's Affairs plans to issue a solicitation for a service contract with base plus one year for the Truman Columbia VAMC 800 Hospital Drive, Columbia, MO 65201-5275 as defined below. This should be issued NLT November 26, 2014 COB. If you have any questions please contact Rickie.Fearing@va.gov. SERVICE CONTRACT Transportation Shuttle Service for Truman VA Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri 65201 ?Intent of this service contract is to provide transportation service for Truman VA employees from University's Reactor Park to the Truman VA facility and return. Total round trip is approximately 4 miles. See attached drawing. ?Transportation/shuttle service shall transport employees Monday thru Friday, excluding Federal holidays, on a continuous, round-trip basis from 6 AM to 9 AM in the morning, and from 3 PM to 6 PM in the afternoon, totaling approximately 6 hours per day of transportation service. Service Contract will be for approximately two years, base year plus one option year. Tentative dates to start is January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 for base and January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016 for option year. ?Vendor shall submit Reactor Park pick-up plan (congregation point or circulate lot) and drop-off point(s) plan as part of proposal for service. Drop-off/pick-up location at Truman VA shall be on Hospital Drive at Truman VA Main Entrance. ?Facility estimates approximately 250 employees will be transported each day. To avoid delays, this initial request is for two vehicles (buses) to be provided. This may be subject to change as circumstances warrant. This number may be increased or decreased. Deciding factors may be wait times and inclement weather. ?Vendor to provide standard liability insurance for VA employees while using this transportation service. ?The C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
