- Description
- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Army is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website and the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) in support of the Project Manager Mission Command (PM MC) is seeking information on how interested sources can provide Software Development services to support Army requirements. PM MC is responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of a cohesive software infrastructure and interoperability capability for the Army and other Joint Partners. The Common Software family of products is a critical enabler of horizontal and vertical integration of the Mission Command Warfighting Function. Common Software provides common functionality among non-common systems; it is a force multiplier in both the Common Operational Environment (COE) and Command Post Computing Environments (CPCE), and reflects elements of the ten (10) Mission Command Essential Capabilities (MCEC). Services are specifically targeting the completion of software development efforts which have previously started but not completed under an existing contract. Effort was originally awarded under the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order (MATO) Contract Numbers W15P7T-09-D-N005 through 0010. The Government requires six (6) months of additional services as described above. Interested sources should review the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the attached Market Survey questions to assess their ability to perform the requested services. Interested sources should submit responses to the questions and requested supporting documentation to Nina.M.Bushnell.civ@mail.mil and Nikeena.S.Brown.civ@mail.mil. Responses should also include 1.) Company Name and Point of Contact, to include address, fax number, email and website, 2.) DUNS Number and CAGE code. Responses and supporting documentation are due by 10 December 2014 at 1pm EST. Reference Common Software Development in all correspondence.
