SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS/QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to procure the following service/material: The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, supervision, supplies, deliver, install, materials, parts, components, equipment, tools, transportation, and to test of equipment/system at CATC Camp Fuji, Japan. The United States Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Motorola Solutions, Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Dr. FL. 3, Columbia, MD, 21046-2583, United States with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Motorola Solutions, Inc. is the sole source to provide the service/material needed because they are the proprietary source that can provide this service/material. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this electronic notice must be made by 10:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) on 28 November, 2014.
