Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Network Contracting Office 16 intends to enter into a sole source acquisition with Stryker Corporation, 47900 Bayside Parkway, Fremont, CA 94538. The products being procured are: Target Detachable Coils to be used with existing Stryker devices at the the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX. NAICS code 339113 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. No other vendors can support or provide the surgical supplies since they are proprietary to Stryker Corporation. This Notice of Intent to Sole Source is NOT a request for quotations. In addition, no other vendors are being solicited to identify their interest and capability to provide these items as described above. No telephone responses will be accepted. There will not be a determination to conduct a competitive procurement. Justification for this sole source acquisition is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements
