- JUSTIFICATION FOR OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION CGC WAESCHE HYDRUALIC CYLINDER OVERHAUL KITS SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION WALZ & KRENZER INC. The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (Oakland Detachment) intends to issue a sole source order to Walz and Krenzer Inc. for the following parts: 1.) LOCKING CYLINDER, D-WK-868-44 2.) OPEN/CLOSE CYLINDERS, D-WK-868-32 3.) DOOR GASKETS SET, D-WK-868-40: PCS 6,12,13,14 & 15 4.) GUIDE RAIL PLASTIC INSERTS, D-WK-868-42: PCS 24,25,26,27,28 & 29 Walz and Krenzer Inc. is the original manufacturer of referenced item and maintains the proprietary rights which make them the sole source. The NAICS for this procurement: 332312. The proposed contract action is for services in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however all proposals received within ten days after date of this publication/synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation is restricted to: Walz and Krenzer Inc. 91 Willenbrock Rd, Unit B4 Oxford, CT 06478 Ph: 203-267-5712 Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. All responsible sources may respond by submitting qualifications/capabilities of the company to provide the following: 1.) LOCKING CYLINDER, D-WK-868-44 2.) OPEN/CLOSE CYLINDERS, D-WK-868-32 3.) DOOR GASKETS SET, D-WK-868-40: PCS 6,12,13,14 & 15 4.) GUIDE RAIL PLASTIC INSERTS, D-WK-868-42: PCS 24,25,26,27,28 & 29 by response date/time listed under "Response Date".
