- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue sole source firm-fixed price commercial item procurement to Fluke Networks, Inc. for maintenance and support for the Lexington VA Medical Center, 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502. A sole source procurement will be issued to Fluke Networks, Inc. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (1), "soliciting from a single source." The NAICS code is 541511 and has a size standard of $27.5 Million for this procurement. The period of performance will be one year. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 8:00am CST, December 1, 2014 to: lashanda.harrington@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Disclaimer and Important Notes: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
