- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to award a five year Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level-of-Effort (LOE) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on a sole source basis to ComGlobal Inc. The contract will provide engineering services related to Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Program at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) in support of improved range safety during missile intercept tests to provide situational awareness and ocean surveillance. It is anticipated that the majority of the effort will be performed at the Government facility in PMRF, HI. The total level of effort is approximately 26,000 hours for the five year performance period. Additional information will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP), which is estimated to be released in December 2014. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Please note that this notice is for the same requirement that was posted under the sources sought synopsis number N68936-14-R-0117. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any interested parties believing that they can fulfill the requirement may submit a written response to be received at the contracting office no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without causing programmatic hardship or duplication of cost to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award is anticipated in the second quarter of FY 15. The contract will include one CLIN for Engineering Support with the unit of issue of hours. CLINs will also be included for materials (each), travel (lot), and CDRLs (lot).
