- Description
- The objective of this contract is to procure highly specialized services required to provide continued Architect- Engineer (A-E) design services in support of the Range Training and Land Program (RTLP) at the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville (USAESCH). This contract is being procured in accordance with the Brooks A-E Act as implemented in FAR 36.6 and EP 715-1-7 Architect-Engineer Contracting in USACE under North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 541330, Engineering Services.. This acquisition will be used to procure highly specialized services required to provide continued Architect-Engineer (A-E) design services in support of the Range Training and Land Program (RTLP). The A-E contracts are intended to provide a variety of A-E services to include but not limited to the following areas in support of the RTLP: providing design solutions, preparation and production of drawings and specifications for MILCON construction projects and Design Build (D-B) Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Additional contractor capabilities may include project planning, charrettes, unexploded ordnance (UXO) support during design services, DD Form 1391 development, site investigations, engineering analysis, surface danger zone analysis, evaluations and studies, surveying and geotechnical investigations, innovative technology applications analysis, sustainable design applications, National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) documentation investigations, value engineering studies, and engineering services during construction. Engineering services/capabilities during construction may include supervision and inspection of construction, review of shop drawings, review of schedules and sequencing of construction, preparation of operation and maintenance manuals, engineering/design during construction, and quality assurance surveillance.
