Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation available at this time. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, FL is seeking information on potential sources concerning the ability to provide galley support services for the NAS Panama City, FL. The estimated period of performance is 01 July 2014 “ 30 September 2019. The estimated issue date of solicitation is March 01, 2015. After issuance, the solicitation may be obtained on the FedBizOps website: https://www.fbo.gov/. All Small businesses, Service “Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government ™s best interest. This office anticipates award of a contract on or about June 01, 2015. The appropriate NAICS Code is 722310, Food Service Contractors, which has a size standard of $38.5 million. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. A draft PWS is attached for reference only. It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to complete the requested work. This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions will NOT be returned. Please provide your response to this sources sought notice by 4:00 p.m. EST on 05 December 2014. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government does not intend to host an information exchange meeting to discuss this RFI with interested potential respondents.
