Description

Introduction: The Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon, Pennsylvania has a requirement for small business contractors to perform semi-annual cleaning on six (6) kitchen hoods to include cleaning of filters, exhaust fans and ducts located at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LVAMC), 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042. This notice is to possibly obtain small business contractors that have the capabilities to include necessary equipment, and personnel, to inspect and clean IAW NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 96 code for the six (6) kitchen hoods located at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220. This sources sought is for market research purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal. Do not submit a proposal or quote. This market research is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this sources sought. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a competitive process. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. The intent of this action is to obtain market research information on the ability for contractors perform semi-annual cleaning on six (6) kitchen hoods to include cleaning of filters, exhaust fans and ducts located at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LVAMC),1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042. All responders to this sources sought shall include the following: 1.Name of Company 2.Point of Contact to include a.Name b.Title c.Email d.Phone Number 3.Address 4.DUNS # 5.GSA schedule contract # (If applicable) 6.Size category 7.Offeror's capability to meet this requirement and any pertinent information which demonstrates the company's ability to meet the above requirements. All responses shall be sent to Elizabeth.Paugh@va.gov ATT: Hood Inspections, failure to include subject line could result in e-mail being missed as a response to this Sources Sought. Please respond by Monday, December 1, 2014 at 12 noon EST. Facsimile or telephonic responses will not be accepted. Simply responding as an "interested party" in www.fbo.gov does not constitute your company as a source. Offeror must provide the above requested information. After review of the responses to this sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website in the near future. Responses to this sources sought announcement are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement, in addition to responding to this sources sought notice. All interested parties must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts
