Description
Redacted J&A This announcement fulfills the requirements of FAR 5.3 and 6.305. The redacted version of the approved J&A is provided as an attachment to this announcement. The F-35 Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot VIII requirement resulted in award of two contract actions as follows: Modification P00005 issued on 11 September 2014 to contract N00019-13-C-0016, previously awarded to United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney, Military Engines (Duns: 001447952) Production Non-Recurring (PNR), initial unit and depot level spare parts, and deployment spares package (DSP). This modification establishes and/or fully funds the following priced CLINs: 0001 (PNR); 4004, 4005, 4006, 4007, 4008, 4009 (Initial unit and depot level spare parts); and 4101, 4103 (DSP). The total Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) award amount is $65,566,173. Modification P00006 issued on 30 October 2014 to contract N00019-13-C-0016, also previously awarded to the aforementioned company, for thirty-five (35) F135-PW-100 Conventional Take-off and Landing (CTOL)/Carrier Variant (CV) engines, three (3) F135-PW-100 spare propulsion systems, ten (10) F135-PW-600 Short Take-off Vertical Landing (STOVL) engines, initial spare modules, associated engineering assistance to production (EAP) support, associated program administrative labor (PAL) support, and certain extra-long lead item options for future propulsion systems. The modification establishes and/or fully funds the following priced CLINs/SLINs: 0002 (EAP); 1001AB/AC/AD, 1002AB/AC/AD, 1004AB/AD, 1010AB/AC/AD, 1012AB/AC/AD, 1013AC/AD/AE/AF/AG (CTOL/CV Install Engines); 1112, 1113 (CTOL/CV Spare Engines); 1501 (Option), 1502 (Option), 1505 (Option), 1507 (Option), 1509 (Option), 1511 (Option), 1512 (Option), 1513 (Option), 1514 (Option) ( CTOL/CV Extra-Long Lead Items); 2001AB/AC/AD/AF/AG/AH/AJ/AK/AL, 2002AB/AC/AD/AF/AG/AH/AJ/AK/AL (STOVL Install Engines); 2501AA/AB (Options), 2503AA/AB/AC (Options) (STOVL Extra-Long Lead Items); 3000 (PAL); and 4001, 4002, 4003, 4010 (Initial Spare Modules). The total the Fixed Price Incentive Firm (FPIF) target award amount is $793,051,336. Performance/Delivery under these contract actions continues through March 2018. Pratt & Whitney, Military Engines is classified as a large business for the applicable NAICs.
