Description
FEMA Industry Day Flyer Phased Contract Award Approach Agenda Socioeconomic Disadvantage Concerns FEMA OCIO Procurement Diagram The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, on behalf of Office of the Chief Information Officer invites you to the FEMA Information Technology Industry Day. The industry day will be held on December 05, 2014 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Amphitheater, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004. The event is scheduled from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. FEMA intends to collaborate with industry with the intent to deliver the agency's information technology needs with a series of contracts supporting the following lines of business: 1. Program Management Oversight The key functionality which falls under this line of business is the objective to deliver value to the mission through Innovation, Optimization, Rapid Delivery, and Reduction of Total Cost of Ownership. 2. Mission Needs & Requirements The key functionalities which fall under this line of business are the Business Needs definition, Concept of Operations, Business Case Analysis, Business Vision Definition, Security Standards, as well as Enterprise Architecture. 3. Application Development, Engineering & Sustainment The key functionalities which fall under this line of business are Program/Project Management, Technology, Architecture & Application Standards, Software Engineering Lifecycle, Change Management & Knowledge Transfer, and Enterprise Data/Information Standards & Business Intelligence. 4. Quality Assurance, IV&V The key functionalities which fall under this line of business are Infrastructure Operations, Configurations Management, Testing, and Independent Validation of Certifications & Accreditation (C&A). 5. Production Management (Operations & Maintenance) The key functionalities which fall under this line of business are Application Support, Operational Implementation, Production Application Management, and Video Teleconferencing. 6. Information Security Technology The key functionalities which fall under this line of business are Identify Risks to Systems, Assets, Data and Capabilities, Protect Mission Essential and Critical Services, Detect Cyber Security Events, Respond to Detected Cyber Security Events, and Recover Capabilities or Services that were impaired due to a Cyber Security Event. 7. Hardware (Blanket Purchasing Agreements) The key functionalities which fall under this line of business are Hardware, Software, Tablets, Laptops, Warranty, Maintenance, and Support Services. Registration Requirements Preregistration is required and admission preference will be given to those companies and individuals who preregister by close of business November 25, 2014. Preregistration shall be done by submitting an email to FEMA-Industry@dhs.gov with attendees name, company name, company address, phone number, and e-mail address for each attendee (please include FEMA Information Technology Industry Conference Registration in subject line). Limit 3 attendees per company. All questions shall be provided to the FEMA-Industry@dhs.gov by close of business November 25, 2014.
