- UPDATED SOURCES SOUGHT UPDATE : THE INITIAL SOURCES SOUGHT DOCUMENT HAD AN INCORRECT TITLE. CHANGES WERE MADE ON BOTH THE FBO POSTING AND THE ATTACHMENT. THE TITLE HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM: AF DCGS ATM COMPONENTS TO: AF DCGS FMV to DSD(+MULTICAST) DUE TO THIS ERROR, THE DATE FOR THE RESPONSES HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 05:00 EST, 26 NOVEMBER 2014. THE ONLY CHANGE IS TO THE TITLE. THE REQUIREMENT HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to determine if there are any businesses capable of providing the supplies and services described herein within the prescribed timeframe. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) DSM Branch (AFLCMC/HBGJ), is conducting market research to identify contractors experienced in technologies to relocate the current Full Motion Video (FMV) processing/exploitation engine and the associated data storage from the DGS sites to high performance computers at the East Coast Hub (ECH) and West Coast Hub (WCH). Included in this effort will be an Internet Protocol (IP) Multicast Mission Management capability to assist in distribution of the FMV feeds to the sites. Implementation of these capabilities will utilize the baseline Data Storage and Dissemination Data Centers (DSDs) for storage of FMV data. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.
