Description
limited sources J&A (redacted) The Assistant Commander Acquisition Logistics & Product Support (ALPS) Research & Readiness Analysis (R2A) team requires predictive modeling & simulation services to support the M777 Program Office with the realignment of the 155mm Howitzer Field Level of Maintenance capabilities. This effort will leverage an existing model of the M777A2 Light Weight 155mm Howitzer, which is currently valued at $285,000.00. The model is owned by the Marine Corps and was developed using a high resolution modeling and simulation platform known as DEMAND Pro®, a proprietary modeling and simulation application developed and owned by Clockwork Solutions, LLC. Clockworks Solutions will utilize their proprietary DEMAND Pro software to provide the Marine Corps with the capability necessary to identify the optimal realignment of resources and allowances (personnel/ tools/test equipment/funding/mission statements) to realign the Field LOM structure of the M777A2 Light Weight 155mm Howitzer while taking into account personnel, tools, mission statements, missions (MEU support, small detachments) and funding constraints. The contractor will provide professional modeling and consulting support to support this life-cycle and product support analysis and assist with identifying improvement opportunities before costly decisions are implemented.
