- NOTICE: This is a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming acquisition of commercial courier services utilizing the procedures of FAR part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation to satisfy the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This notice is NOT a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Vendors should not submit quotations until the RFQ is posted to this website. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. SERVICES: Contractor shall furnish all vehicles and personnel necessary to perform Courier Services in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of this solicitation between the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center (located at 1500 North West Wood Blvd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) at: oVA Clinic, 2420 Linwood Dr. Suite 3, Paragould AR 72450 oVA Outpatient Clinic, 1801 E. State Route K, West Plains, Mo 65775 oVA Clinic, 1580 W Columbia, Farmington Mo. 63640 oVA Clinic, 3051 Williams, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703 oVA Clinic, 903 S. Kings Highway, Sikeston, MO 63801 oVA Clinic, 300 Camp Road, Pocahontas, AR 72455 ACQUISITION: The VA intends to release this as a competitive RFQ on or about the week of November 14, 2014. A single solicitation will be issued and a single award is anticipated. The procurement will be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 492110 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. Any resultant contract will be effective for a Base Period of performance of one year, with four one-year Options to extend the contract at the Government's discretion. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the full RFQ will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). All future information regarding this acquisition including amendments will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
