Description
Sources Sought Notice- National Contracts Standardization Program. This is not a solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center is conducting Market Research to assess industry capabilities for distribution of Simvastatin Pharmaceutical Drugs, NAICS Code 325412, to the VA and other Government Agencies (OGAs). The VA is seeking responses to this Request For Information (RFI) from interested, capable firms that can meet all of the requirements set forth below. Capabilities should include but are not limited to: "Is your firm able to provide all the package strengths, package sizes, and specific requirements as indicated in the table below? ________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________ "Unit of Use Bottle Size All unit of use packaging identified in the Schedule of Supplies, (i.e., 15s, 30s, 45s, 60s, 90s, and 180s), must contain a child proof closure (safety cap) and a bottle with a minimum required size of 100cc volume. The safety cap must not exceed the diameter of the bottle. The bottle must have a cylindrical body and minimum of 5.75" circumference. The bottle must fit a label with a dimension of 5.25" x 2". The 0.5" additional space is required to keep the bar code exposed and/or allow for the display of the expiration date and lot number. "Is your firm able to deliver the estimated annual quantities, as listed in the chart below? _____________________________________________________________________ "Is your firm able to deliver the products to the VA's Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor no later than 45 days after award? __________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________ "If not the manufacturer of the products, please list name of Manufacturer and where these pharmaceuticals are manufactured. ___________________________________________ "Would your firm be able to fill an initial order up to 30% of the estimated annual quantities? _______________________________________________________ Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information above to include: Company Name, address, point of contact, phone number. The respondent able to meet all the requirements of this notice should email Erika Moreno at Erika.moreno2@va.gov no later than November 17, 2014 2:30pm Central Time. ?
