- Description
- Goodfellow AFB located in San Angelo, TX requires the purchase and installation of Kidde brand fire trainers. The contractor shall provide and install the following: Qty of 1, Kidde brand Car Trainer, Part Number: 0-1000 CFCT. Qty of 1, Kidde brand Class A Dumpster Trainer, Part Number: 0-100DFT. Qty of 1, Kidde brand Cylinder Trainer, Part Number: 0-100 TFT. Along with providing the mentioned trainers, the contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, labor and supervision to perform the following tasks. Fill three burn pits with concrete, provide and install new vapor propane systems along with the trainers. Work will also involve converting two trainers from a liquid propane system to the vapor propane system. This requirement is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated under procedures set forth in FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 33399, "All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing" with the size standard of 750 employees. All offerors must be registered at the System for Award Management (SAM) website. SAM is the Official U.S. Government system that consolidated the capabilities of CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. The solicitation will be posted within a timely manner against this synopsis as soon as possible. An anticipated date for a site visit will be approximately two weeks after posting the solicitation. Exact dates will be shown in the Request for Proposal (RFP). All offerors urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Access to the site will be limited to the organized site visit only. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Priced contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government.
