- This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to extend the period of performance of contract W91CRB-12-C-0013, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source will satisfy agency requirements. The Army Contracting Command (ACC) intends to execute a modification to extend the period of performance on existing Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE) contract, W91CRB-12-C-0013, by six (6) months. The proposed modification extends the period of performance of W91CRB-12-C-0013 by six (6) months from 3 Feb 2015 to 2 Aug 2015. Under contract W91CRB-12-C-0013, Jacobs Technology Inc, 1020 Titan Ct, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 (Cage: 7W309) provides comprehensive and wide ranging Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance services (SETA) support to programs for increasing Soldier capabilities. Jacobs Technology Inc. is the only source capable of performing these services within the required time-frame. The extension is required to ensure continuity of services until the follow on SETA contract is awarded. It is estimated the follow-on SETA procurement should be awarded and in-place NLT July 2015. If award is made prior to 2 Aug 15, the contract POP will be modified to coincide with the new award for the follow on contract. The requiring activity is Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier and its subordinate Project Management offices (PMOs), PM SSL, PM SPIE, PM SWAR and PM SW. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
