Description: This is a Design-Bid-Build Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract. The project is comprised of a base bid and two Options. Base bid Item A, Line Item 0001 includes all the removal and disposal of existing deteriorated steam and condensate lines, fittings and valves along Goodrich Ave and will provide a new pre-engineered steam and condensate direct buried piping system in its place. Base bid Item B, Line Item 0002, includes the complete demolition of the existing condensate pump station adjacent to Building 22 and installation of a new pump station in its place. It also includes the demolition and replacement of various piping, valves, and other related equipment in the condensate pump station adjacent to Building 347. The following Options and the work contained in each option are as follows: Option 1, Line Item 003: All work associated with replacing the branch line (steam and condensate) between the Goodrich Ave main and Building 154. Option 2, Line Item 004: All work associated with replacing the main and branch line (steam and condensate) between manhole 276 and Building 29.
