- Background of Requriement Notice of Intent Solicitation No. NMSS-15-0033 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Division of Contracts Mail Stop TWB 01 B10M Washington, D.C. 20555 Classification Code: -- General purpose information technology NAICS Code: 541511 Contracting Office Address: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of Administration Acquisition Management Division 11545 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 United States The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a non-competitive purchase order renewal award with Goldsim Technology Group for software upgrades and maintenance support to ten software licenses for Goldsim Pro with Radionuclide Transport Module. The period of performance for this proposed acquisition is 24 months beginning January 1, 2015 - December 31, 2015. GoldSim Technology Group LLC is the developer and sole distributor of the GoldSim software package. They are the only known source which has the proprietary software, GlodSim Pro with Radionuclide Transport Module, and they do not allow any other distributor to provide the upgrades and maintenance required. This notice of intent is neither a request for quotes; nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates an ability to meet the NRC's needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Wanda M. Brown, Contract Specialist, at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, 3WFN 05 C640MP, Washington, D.C. 20555 via mail no later than 3:00pm, November 12, 2014.
