Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to acquire 800 kits of Rechargeable Retrofit to convert portable non-rechargeable legacy battle lanterns into re-chargeable lanterns; which requires the First Article (FA) for inspection to the Government. Anticipate the award of a Firm Fixed Price type contract. Solicitation number N00244-15-T- 0011 applies and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) under FAR Part 13. The solicitation will open on November 14, 2014 and close on November 20, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335122 and the business size standard is 500. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The method of invoicing and payment shall be by Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). NOTE: The contractor shall provide the First Article (FA) for inspection to the Government 10 days. The Government shall inspect and test the FA within 10 days or sooner after receipt of the FA. The Government Representative shall notify the Contracting Officer (CO) within 5 days or sooner after the inspection and testing of the status of the testing. The CO shall then notify the Contractor of the conditional approval, or disapproval of the First Article (FA). This announcement will close November 13, 2014.
