Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs in South Texas, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source purchase order with Ortho Clinical Diagnostics INC, to purchase blood bank testing supplies which are ordered on a monthly basis as needed. The period of performance will be one base + 2 option years. The items are listed below. NAICS: 334516. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A), only one responsible source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 P.M.
